Ang kanamit kag kasakit sa una nga paghigugma

Matuod gid ra nga harambalun... "kanami guid sa pamatyagun kun ikaw ang naga higugma, ilabi run guid kung imo una nga eksperyensya".

Kun akun madumduman, ako naka batyag ang ginatawag nga pag higugma kang akun tiempo kang sekondarya. Sangka simple pero mabuot kag gwapa ang akun gina bantayan sa eskwela. Permi ako aga ga bugtaw para magpanghimus mag-agto sa eskwela. Kanami kang akun pamatyagan kung akun makita sa aga ang akun ginahandum nga maging nobya. Naga ngirit ako halin mag umpisa ang klase sa aga asta mag abot ang katapusan nga oras antis mag tag irigma. Una gid ako kara permi mag gwa sa klasrum para lang makita ang akun gina higugma antis tana mag uli kanada.

Antis mag umpisa ang klase sa hapon akun ginabantayan sa sagwa klasrum ang akun gina handum. Makita ko lamang tana nga ga pasulod sa anda kwarto akun dughan iba guid ang ginakubakuba. Nagliligad ang mga inadlaw, tana man gihapon ang akun gina binantayan. Sa mga adlaw, semana kag binulan nga nagliligad sa akun panurukan wara guid ti mag lapaw sa ana ka gwapahan. Pero ang problema ko, sa kaduruhun kang estudyante sa amun eskwelahan, ako sangka ultimo ordinaryo nga estudyante matugruan na ayhan ka pagtamud bisan gamay? Sa akun paghunahuna daw indi na guid matugruan tiempo nga makita kung anu ko tana  ginahigugma.

Sangka adlaw akun tana  nakita nga daw kanami ana nga yuhum galantaw kanakun. Ang akun tagipusuon daw malupok sa kasadya hay sa pag kabuhay-buhay ka tiempo, kadya ko lang naman-an nga nakilala na man gali kahit paano. Sa mga oras nga ato isara sa pina kasadya ko nga na eksperyensyahan, daw pareho kang gina hambal kang iban, kun anu kanami kang pamatyagan. Daw galutaw ka lang sa kalangitan. Ako daw natapungawan sa tiempo nga ato. Tana akun ginalantaw samtang nga tana gaparapit pa agto sa lugar kun diin ako gatindug. Sa akun paglantaw daw anu kanami ang ana pagkayuhum. Ang akun nabatyagan daw malupok ang akun dughan. Samtang gaparapit tana sa lugar kun diin ako gatindug, akun gina paminsar kun anu ang akun nga harambalun. Sa tiempo nga tana rapit run kanakun, siguro sa kasadya kag sa kakulba, wara guid ti may nag gwa sa akun baba kundi ang kataga nga. Kmusta? Tana nag lantaw kag yuhum kanakun.  Nag sabat mayad man a! Pamatyagan ko daw sa langit lang ako. Indi ko ma man-an anu himuon ko makadlaw tudo-tudo ukon magtumbo kag mag singit "yohoo".

Pero urihi ko run na rialisar nga ang ana nami nga yuhum indi gali para kanakun. Sa akun pagtalikod may sang ka estudyante gali, ana klasmet nga naga tindug, gapamaypay kana. Indi ko maman-an kun anu akun himuon. Namayha ako sa mga tawo nga naka kita kang akun sitwasyun. Nagpa kunokuno ako nga iba man akun gina yuhuman. Pero sa mga tawo nga naka kilala sa akun, indi guid ako maka pakuno-kuno hay tanda mismo naka maan kung anu ko ka gusto ang babahi nga ato.

Nagliligad ang mga inadlaw, akun nabatian kag naman-an nga naging tanda run gali kang ana nga klasmet. May naghambal kanakun nga buhay run ra gali naga pangaluyag ang ana nga klasmet kana. Sang akun naman-an ang isturya, ako naduraan kang gana mag-eskwela. Na realisar ko, ang nag tugru katu kanakun kang inspirasyun nga magtuon kamayad, amu man ra gali mag tugro kanakun ka rason kung andut indi ako mag-eskwela. Pira ka adlaw nga wara ako nag sulod sa amun klase. Kun ako present man, wara ako ti gana mag pamati sa gina hambal kag gina leksyun kang amun maestra.  Wara ako ti gana magtuon kun ako maka uli sa amun balay.

Nagligad ang mga inadlaw, akun man na amat-amatan batun ang akun kamalasun sa paghigugma. Bangud sa natabo, ridto ko na realisar nga siguro indi pagid man katapusan kang kalibutan. Duro pa nga mga babayi ang akun makilala sa urihi. Pero may leksyon man ako nga naman-an sa sitwasyun nga akun naagyan. Sa paghigugma indi ka mag ekspektar kang puro kanamit lang permi kundi ikaw man maga ekspektar kang posible nga kasakit nga imo pwede ma aguman...

Akun gina binagbinag ang harambalun nga dya. "Nothing hurts more than realizing she meant everything to me, but I meant nothing to her." hahahaha

Sibalom, Antique - My Municipality, My Pride

Have you been to Sibalom, Antique lately?

For those who are not familiar of this place. The Town of Sibalom is one of the three land-lock municipality in the Province of Antique. Known as "The Rice Bowl of the Province". Today, the municipality belongs to the classification of a 2nd Class Municipality. It is the home of the University of Antique, the newest University in the Region and the first and the only University in the province. Also the home of Sibalom Natural Park which was declared as a protected area by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 282 and became the first Protected Area in the Island of Panay.

Sibalomnons or the people of Sibalom are proud of their hometown for it is home of diverse wildlife and blessed with so many natural resources. The municipality is blessed with one of the largest land area in the province. It can be found within the municipality's territorial jurisdiction several mountain ranges, untouched forests, rivers and lakes, wide areas of rice fields, etc. In its river beds there are boulders of semi-precious gemstones such as Jade, Jasper, Chert, Onyx and Agate. Minerals can also be found in areas around the municipality such as high grade Manganese, Gold, Copper, Coal, Limestone, etc.

The forested areas of the municipality are also known for its diverse wildlife. The Sibalom Natural Park is home of some of the exotic and endangered species of both flora and fauna. The largest bloom "Rafflesia" can be found in Mt. Porras and surrounding areas, other rare species of trees are also present in the area. There are at least 59 known species of birds and some are even endemic to the municipality. Visayan Warty Pig and Visayan Spotted Deer are some of the mammals that roam the forest of the Municipality.

Sibalomnons celebrates the Buroyluganay Festival every month of December for the people of the municipality to enjoy and to showcase their talents in different fields (singing, dancing, etc). Also this is the time were the "Balikbayans" enjoy their stay in the municipality to experience the festival and at the same time to celebrate the Christmas Holiday with their love ones.

Today, Sibalom is becoming a Tourist Destination in the province especially during the Holy Week for the "Taltal sa Igmitao" were Aglipayan devotees celebrate a mass in Mt. Igmitao summit, during Christmas to celebrate the Buroyluganay Festival, on rainy seasons were the Rafflesia frequently blooms and during May 21-22 the municipal fiesta celebration.

Because of the hard work of Sibalomnons to protect its natural resources and to promote its cultural uniqueness,  the municipality became a must destination when tourist come to the Province of Antique.

So, if you happen to visit the  Province of Antique, you should stop-by and experience the hospitality of Sibalomnons and experience the Beauty of Nature at its best.
